There are a million and one Festivals going on at the same time in France, we happened to be there for Fête de la Musique. Amanda, Rachel and I went to Carte Blanche and I saw:

I'm trying to keep composed when writing this, but it was just AMAZING! They were all on stage together and did an amazing acapella song, i'm sure it's up on Youtube somewhere.I've been a fan of Saul's since high school, and it was so al;ksgrj;laknfsvd being able to see him perform live.
AND MEET HIM! He's so cool!
Amanda, Rachel and I were waiting while he was signing autographs with his french fans and then we slid up to him and Amanda said ' Haaaaay Saaaaaul' in a mock southern accent. To which he replied 'You guys don't sound very French!'
We told him about our program and how much Orlando sucks compared to Paris (understatement of the year). He even signed my sketchbook/journal!

Had some Wendy's on my layover from Washington....I had forgotten how big a Medium drink in the U.S. is.

Jeez, welcome home!


I had a nice package waiting for me though. A signed copy of Scott Pilgrim vol.5 and a slightly vulgar letter in the shape of a pair of pants. Thanks Neil!


Next thing on the agenda, Papa's and my birthday!

Finished all my exams, hopefully passed. The grades are posted, but why would I want to ruin my summer? Honestly, the nerve of some people.


May needs to just hurry up and get itself done with.

I'm about to break in my beautiful new sketchbook! I made a 12 page mini comic for my mother's boss this past week and received it (sketchbook) as payment,AND I also received my course list for the University of Paris. With these to events intersecting each other I feel like I should use this pretty little bound specimen as a summer journal.

But first I have to get some figure drawings done...it's been a while.

I finally saw the first two episodes of Ashes to Ashes Season 2! I'm glad Alex decided to wear something other than an off-the-shoulder neon shirt.
